We recently completed this beautiful project that will also be featured in the upcoming November issue of the SA Home Owner.

The home owner wanted something with traditional detailing and a warm old worldly and elegant feel, whilst still being fresh, crisp and timeless enough to be current as well. The hearth Style feature above the stove, turned legs, dresser on onion feet, fluted pilasters and shaped sconces bring in the traditional elements adding detail and creating the nostalgic feeling of old worldly craftsmanship. The cupboards are in a sprayed satin finish, in a bright, crisp, clean bright white which makes it more modern. The tops of the dressers and the ladder was made in washed Oak for some warmth and contrast.

We designed and manufactured the cabinetry for the kitchen, scullery and laundry, bedroom cupboards, vanities, study and wall units in the entertainment areas in this magnificent home.

We were so excited when we were approached to work on this Salon! Being a corporate project that involved shop fitting, as well as our first salon installation, this was a departure from our usual work in private homes. It was a great opportunity to work on something new and unique.

It was stimulating and rewarding working on this from the design stage, throughout the entire project to completion. The owners of the salon were just wonderful to collaborate with and the end result not only met but surpassed what we had envisioned. The owners of Solea Beauty and Wellness were over the moon with the shop fitting in their gorgeous new salon! We are so proud of how this project turned out, and the unique look and feel that was achieved here and think for a “first”, it was a resounding success.
